Find your perfect fit

Our belts are handwoven to order, so getting the size right the first time matters. Here’s how to nail it in under a minute.

The quick rule: our belts are labeled by belt size, which runs about 2 inches larger than your pant waist (add 3 if your pant size is an odd number). So a size 34 pant wears a 36 belt. When in doubt, size up.

Three ways to find your size

Go by your pant size

The easiest way: take your usual pant waist and add 2 inches. Size 32 pants → 34 belt. Odd-numbered pant size? Add 3.

Measure a belt you love

Lay a belt you already wear flat. Measure from where the leather meets the buckle to the hole you actually use — that length is your belt size.

Measure your waist

Wrap a tape where you wear your belt, over your pants. Add about 2 inches so the buckle sits comfortably on the middle hole.

What are the belts made of?

Each belt is handwoven from 100% mercerized cotton, attached to full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather from the most sustainable tannery in the Americas, and finished with a solid brass buckle.

Where are they made?

Every piece is handmade in Guatemala by Maya artisans, then shipped from our home base in Austin, Texas.

How do I care for my belt?

The leather develops a beautiful worn-in patina over time. If it needs cleaning, spot-clean with a mild detergent and let it air dry.

How fast do you ship?

Orders process in 1–2 business days, then ship USPS standard (typically 3–5 business days). An expedited option is available at checkout, and you’ll get a tracking link by email.
